Angela joined the Argus Group in June 2016, bringing to the team an extensive background in both banking and adult education. Prior to joining AWM, her banking career spanned 30 years.

Angela’s parallel career in adult education includes: Working as the Head of Training for the Government of Bermuda and delivering workshops in professional and personal development from the Franklin Covey suite of course work, both within the banking community as well as independently.

Here at Argus, Angela provides customized educational workshops for employers, pension members as well as charities on the Pension Legislation, Market updates and pension products and services. She works directly with the full Investment management team to ensure that Argus Pension Investment products and services are meeting the needs of our clients.

Angela has an active family life and enjoys community engagement both professionally and personally.

Louis joined Argus Wealth Management Limited (AWM) in October 2007 as an Assistant Vice President of Operations and progressed to his current leadership role as Head of AWM in April 2023. He previously worked as an Analyst at Cidel Bank & Trust in Barbados where he gained extensive knowledge and experience in banking, investment administration, and fund management. Prior to joining Cidel in January 2006, he worked for several years as an Examiner with the Bank Supervision Department of the Central Bank of Barbados. Core responsibilities included bank surveillance and regulation.

Louis holds a BSc. (Hons) in Economics and Accounting from the University of the West Indies in Barbados, and a MSc. (Distinction) in Banking and International Finance from the Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), City University in London. Louis is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder and is a member of the Bermuda CFA Society. He is also a registered Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in British Columbia and Bermuda. Louis currently serves on various management committees including investments, risk and asset liability management within the Argus Group.

Louis enjoys family time with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, he is an avid golfer and has an interest in art.

Sara joined Argus Wealth Management in January 2014. She has a strong background in customer relationship management and executive administration from several industries which include: Investments, real estate finance, marketing and the not-for-profit sector. Before joining AWM Sara was the capital campaign co-ordinator for a local non-profit museum. This position not only required strong organisational skills, but also the ability to communicate the museum’s ethos passionately and effectively to donors and visitors. Prior to working for the museum, she was an executive assistant to the head teacher of a local private school and managed the human resource function for over 130 faculty and staff.

Sara has a B.Sc. in Sports and Recreation management from the University of Colorado and pursued a masters degree in Institutional Management and Leadership at the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom. Sara holds the CFA Investment Foundation Certificate.

In her free time she enjoys a variety of sports/games, gardening, reading, volunteering and spending time with family and friends.

Katherine joined the AWM Team as a Client Management Representative in September 2022. She commenced her career in finance and investments with Cidel as an intern in July 2017 and progressed to an Administrator in the Client Services department from August 2018, where her keen analytical eye was appreciated in efforts to improve the operations of the department.

Katherine holds a Bachelor’s in Management from The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus.

In her spare time, Katherine enjoys being in the gym, trying new cuisines and experimenting in mixology with her husband. She can also be found in the Violin section of the Barbados National Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Julanda joined Argus Wealth Management in November 2022, bringing to the team a wealth of knowledge and experience from the financial sector. With almost two decades of experience in the banking industry, Julanda has held a variety of leadership roles within operations, retail, wealth, fund administration and compliance.

It’s through such roles that Julanda was able to take full advantage of work and training opportunities outside of Bermuda. Specifically referencing experiences in Hong Kong, Malaysia, India and the US, as having the most impact on her professional journey.

In her spare time, Julanda enjoys reading, supporting local sports and spending time with her family. She also holds a keen interest in local philanthropy and plans to one day launch her own foundation to focus on teaching women about the benefits of mental health treatment.

As Senior Operations Manager for AWM, Julanda’s responsibilities include oversight and management of the business operations, as well as management of key vendor relationships.

Rickai joined Argus Wealth Management Limited (AWM) in July 2023 in the role of Wealth Manager. With extensive experience in the financial services industry spanning over a decade, Rickai brings his expertise and passion for delivering exceptional, results driven financial solutions.

Throughout his career, Rickai has made significant contributions in various fields, including banking, investments, reinsurance, and brokered products. His ability to tailor bespoke solutions has served a diverse clientele comprising retail, institutional, high net worth, and private clients, both locally and internationally.

Rickai's educational background includes a BSc. degree in Finance from St. John’s University. His commitment to professional development is evident through his successful completion of certifications such as the Series 7, Series 63, NY Life and Variable Annuity Certifications, and the CFA Investment Foundations Certificate.

Beyond his professional expertise, Rickai actively serves on three charitable boards, including the Epsilon Theta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, Impact Mentoring Academy, and CP Athletic Development Academy. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors (IOD) Bermuda branch and The Association for Corporate Racial Equity (ACRE).

In his leisure time, Rickai prioritises spending quality time with his family. He is also a member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA), and currently holds Bermuda’s national record for the Highest 3-Game Series ever achieved.

Wen joined Argus as the Head of Investments in October 2021, assuming the primary responsibility of managing the balance sheet assets that support Argus' insurance business. Recently, her role has expanded to include overseeing the private client business of Argus Wealth Management Limited (AWM), highlighting her growing influence and importance within the company.

With over 15 years of experience in portfolio and risk management, Wen’s distinguished career includes notable positions at TD Bank Financial and Manulife in Canada, where she developed asset allocations, investment, and hedging strategies for portfolios ranging from $7 billion to $20 billion in assets.

Wen holds a Master of Finance from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and a BBA (Honours) from the Schulich School of Business, York University. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder and volunteers as a mentor in the Toronto CFA Society. Recently, she received a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Wen loves spending time outdoors with her husband and two boys. She is an avid hiker, runner, and CrossFit athlete.

Rachael joined Argus Wealth Management Limited (AWM) as a Wealth Manager in June 2024, assuming the primary responsibility of managing client relationships for the private wealth business. Rachael gained extensive experience managing relationships and risk while working as an underwriter for nearly 20 years in the Bermuda Reinsurance industry. She holds numerous insurance designations, including CPCU, ARe, and AU. Rachael is currently pursuing the Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) certification education program at The College for Financial Planning, a Kaplan company. Rachael holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Biology from Acadia University, Wolfville, Canada.

Outside of work, Rachael enjoys cooking, traveling, reading nonfiction, and socializing with her friends and family. She is actively engaged in the community and regularly volunteers at Meals on Wheels.

Erik Simmons joined Argus Wealth Management Limited (AWM) in June 2024 as a Wealth Associate, performing a wide range of administrative activities to deliver a high level of customer service to all clients. With over seven years of experience in trust fund management and banking, Erik has developed a deep understanding of financial planning and wealth management strategies, working closely with clients to provide personalized solutions to help them protect and grow their assets. Erik’s expertise spans trust fund administration, investment planning and banking services.

Erik holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from Georgia State University in America and a Financial Planning & Wealth Management (FPWM)^TM Certificate from the Corporate Finance Institute.

Beyond the office, Erik loves to travel and plans to visit all seven continents, having visited four so far. He is deeply committed to giving back, regularly supporting charitable organizations, and volunteering within his community. He has been a mentor with YouthNet Bermuda, a big brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters Bermuda, and an alumni committee member with Raleigh International Bermuda.
